Mock Project:

Symphony in Motion – A Cultural Immersion Experience

Symphony in Motion was conceptualized as a one-night cultural event blending live orchestral performance with modern immersive design. The objective was to reimagine the classical concert experience by integrating multimedia storytelling, synchronized lighting, and thematic staging within a historic venue. I served as the project manager responsible for overseeing the full project life cycle, from initiation to closeout.

During the initiation phase, I developed the project charter, outlined key deliverables, and identified all internal and external stakeholders. This included the symphony conductor, production crew, venue leadership, lighting designers, and media partners. The success criteria were clear: on-time performance, flawless audiovisual execution, and a high-impact audience experience.

In planning, I created a comprehensive project management plan that detailed the scope baseline, developed a resource-loaded schedule, and included a proactive risk management strategy. I facilitated alignment across creative and technical departments, defined rehearsal milestones, and secured contingency plans for vendor delays and live performance disruptions.

Throughout execution, I led coordination across multiple workstreams including stage setup, sound design, ticketing, and marketing. Daily stand-ups ensured task tracking and cross-functional transparency. I monitored performance metrics in real time to manage schedule adherence, vendor compliance, and quality control. Stakeholder expectations were managed through status updates, visual dashboards, and live coordination with artistic leadership.

Closeout involved a structured handoff and post-event evaluation. I conducted stakeholder debrief sessions, compiled lessons learned, and archived all documentation to support process improvement for future cultural activations.

Results:
• 98% schedule adherence
• 100% vendor contract fulfillment
• 250+ attendees with full capacity achieved two weeks pre-event
• 0 on-site technical incidents
• 92% post-event satisfaction score from stakeholder feedback forms
